Coming from the "baby boomer" generation (as they are called in Germany), the family gene pool was able to provide me with some musical talent. The seventies shaped my hearing and so in 1979 I swapped my LEGO and toy train for an electric guitar. And my teenage hormones were also full of anticipation of a sprawling career as a rock star. Together with my brother and a few boys from the neighborhood, I founded the first band, to the delight of all the parents and neighbors who were compulsively l
